Require assistance to participate in a leisure activity

Workplace environment not setup properly for your needs. 

Experience difficulties with work duties or university requirements

Problems with memory or thinking abilities (cognition)

Home environment requires modifying to enable independence and/ or increase safety

You experience fatigue performing your daily routines

You require technology to assist with controlling your environment, (e.g. television, switches)

 

Occupational Therapy Services may include: 

Assessment of daily living skills and recommendations to maximise independence.

Carer training

Home assessment 

Workplace or university assessment

Energy conservation education

Equipment prescription, including wheelchairs and scooters.

Seating assessment if complex wheelchair needs

Pressure care assessment and equipment prescription

Setup of assistive technology and environmental controls

Cognitive strategies/ training
