FAQs about our Telehealth Services

What are online therapy appointments?

Online therapy sessions with your therapist or team of therapists using a computer, tablet or smart phone. It’s super easy and your therapist will help you through all of the steps!

Is online therapy right for me?

If you’re not an existing Allied Therapy Services client you can call our friendly admin team on (03) 5292 8020 or send an email to referral@alliedtherapyservices.com.au to find out if online therapy is right for you.

How will the appointment work?

You will be emailed a link for the meeting (therapy session) before your appointment. When it is time for your appointment simply click on the link and you will be taken to a screen where you can see and talk to your therapist or therapy team. If you have any problems at all your therapist can help you out. The online therapy session is run like a normal face to face appointment.

Is it worth it?

Yes! If your goals can be achieved with online therapy, the research suggests you will get similar outcomes with online therapy appointments as you would with face to face appointments. It also means that you can access a highly skilled therapist or therapy team when you might not otherwise be able to.
